Each of these faces are masks; they represent the face on show, the face we want others to see and the image we want to portray. Each mask is created from the same mould and yet each is unique, much as we are. The making process is a metaphor for the 'sameness' in all of us and the 'differences' between all of us. Through use the mould will gradually disintegrate and the basic structure of the masks will change, eventually the mould will no longer be viable and the masks no longer produced.
